Founding Dreamer’s Planning Committee
On July 9th we had our very first Founding Dreamers Planning Committee meeting at The Malverne, and what a morning it was.
It was messy. It was sweaty. It was exciting. Most of all... it was magical.
Together we toured the theater, imagined what each space could become, shared our dreams for The Malverne, and started putting those dreams on paper through our planning committee worksheets. Every idea, every laugh, every question, and every conversation reminded us why we’re doing this.
This isn’t just about restoring a theater. It’s about building a place where everyone belongs—a place for movies, live performances, employment, creativity, friendships, and opportunities for our entire community.
It wasn’t just a meeting. It was the beginning of something special.
To our Founding Dreamers: thank you for helping us dream big and build something that will make a difference for generations to come. We can’t wait to share this journey with all of you.
